With new equipment purchases and the reconstruction of primary and high schools, children with disabilities will get the opportunity to improve their education and knowledge, said Jelena Rakic, project coordinator of “All kids are iNCRedible!”, which is run by The Foundation Ana and Vlade Divac in partnership with NCR foundation.
She also said that 41 schools for children with disabilities applied for this contest. Three schools will receive the funds for reconstruction in the amount of one million dinars, and two schools will get necessary equipment worth 350,000.00 dinars.
The number of received applications indicate that schools have a huge need for reconstructing classrooms, gyms, playgrounds designed for children with disabilities, sensory rooms and gardens. The most needed equipment is that used for the specific needs of a pupil, such as a biogenic room, vibroacoustic therapy, logopedic sets and other assistive technology.
Special attention will be dedicated to families and parents by organizing different sport, cultural and social activities in local communities, followed by active participation and volunteer support of employee from NCR Serbia. In five chosen cities, i.e. schools, family days will be organized with the goal of promoting the inclusion of children with disabilities and support for their families.
A short list of schools that applied for the competition will be available after May 29th, while the official results will be known in mid-June, leaving time to carry out construction and other work during the summer.

The Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation and partners have been working on providing conditions for quality upbringing and education for 11 years. So far, more than 70 kindergartens and schools have been renovated, and about 20,000 children have received better conditions for their education and growing up.
