Representatives from nine companies operating in Serbia, interested in implementing the "Family-Friendly Workplace" Model in their operations, attended a workshop today organized by the Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation. The workshop introduced this business model aimed at establishing a balance between employees' work and personal lives, as well as the steps necessary to pilot the Model in selected companies.
The "Family-Friendly Workplace" business model, which will be introduced in selected companies, aligns with the overall business goals, needs, and ambitions of each company. Some of the measures within the model that can contribute to balancing work and personal obligations for employees include enabling remote work, scheduling meetings only during working hours, providing assistance for reintegration into work during and after maternity leave and child care leave, ensuring necessary technical equipment for working from home, paid parental leave, support for childcare, household assistance, and more.
Representatives from companies Addiko Bank, Center for New Technologies, GDI, Ikea, Intens, Ribella Foods, SDPS d.o.o, TGRS d.o.o, and Yettel Bank attended the workshop.
The activities are being carried out by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Serbia in collaboration with partners from the Government of the Republic of Serbia and numerous partners from the private sector, with the active support of the Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation through the regional project "More Opportunities through Family-Friendly Policies," funded by the Austrian Development Agency.
