We are reminding all interested young people with disabilities from Belgrade, Novi Sad, Niš, Subotica, Zrenjanin and Šabac to apply for the internship, which is open until January 25th, 2024.
Work practice is implemented within the project “Job Fit: Economic Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities”, financed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and implemented by the Youth with Disabilities Forum together with partners, with the aim of improving the participation of persons with disabilities in the labor market, and strengthening their economic independence.
The goal of this program is to improve the employability of young people with disabilities through the acquisition of new knowledge and skills. The invitation is addressed to motivated young people under the age of 35, who have the desire to learn through a paid internship. The program is implemented in February and March 2024. During the two-month internship the Youth with Disabilities Forum will support the practitioners by covering the costs of transportation and a hot meal.
By registering for the call, those that are interested will have the chance to attend an internship at some of the 28 leading companies and employers in Serbia.
Applications are made by filling out a form that can be downloaded from the fmi.rs website and sent to the email address [email protected] with the title “Application for work internship”, by Thursday, January 25th, 2024. Complete descriptions of individual internship positions, as well as the application form can be found on the website fmi.rs.
One candidate can apply for two positions, and the selected candidates will go through a preparatory online workshop before starting the internship, organized by the Youth with Disabilities Forum in early February.
