Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation has been motivating and supporting citizens of Serbia to take responsibility and understand the power of unity in addressing personal and social problems for over 14 years.

Following this vision, we have decided to address a growing problem of polarization in today’s society, which is even more emphasized in recent times due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Through all the sessions we would like to highlight the problem of polarization in today’s society, present some conflict resolution techniques, and overall how the pandemic caused the increase in the gap that shows the differences among people as a negative value. 

The aim of the conference The role of an individual in overcoming conflicts in a polarized society is to emphasize the importance of reducing segmentations in various social spheres, informing the public about the types of conflicts and promoting tolerance and diversity.

The event will have a hybrid character, some speakers will be at the same studio, while others will join online, and the audience will follow the event online. This format gives a more global character to the event as we will have speakers and audience joining from different continents.
