The Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation has signed contracts with 6 local civil society organizations from different parts of Serbia on the delivering of grants for empowerment of their capacities in the total amount of 50,000 dollars. The aim of this help which is realized within the “Support for Local Response to Refugee Crisis project”, which the foundation is conducting with the financial support of American agency for international development (USAID), is to empower organizations which work on local and regional level and make them more effective in giving their services and in contribution to development of their local communities and better life of their citizens.
This time the support for empowerment of their organizational capacities was given to the next organizations and associations: Sigma plus from Niš, Impuls from Tutin, Humanitarian Center for Integration and Tolerance (HCIT) from Novi Sad, Center for Solidarity and Advancement from Preševo, Youth Forum from Preševo, and Refugee Aid Serbia (RAS) from Belgrade.
